To The Family: My sincere sympathy is extended to all of you in the passing of Doris.
I had a long visit with Doris at her apartment in early December where she showed me all the beautiful pictures she had painted and she was enjoying her new surroundings. Don, I just wanted you to know that we were talking about you and the special relationship that you and Doris have always had. Your grandmother beamed when she talked about you and said that you were her boy. I remember her always taking you to Sunday School and always wanting nothing but the best for you. You and Doris shared a very special bond and I'm sure you know how much she loved you. Beautiful Doris, with her ever present smile, her quiet ways and beautiful voice will be forever remembered. She was a true friend to Ruby, always calling to check on her and I'm sure, saying many prayers for her.
