Obituary of Cecil Harding

UPDATE We invite friends and family of the late Cecil A. Harding to join us in a celebration of his life at the Dorn Ridge Cemetery on May 18th 2019 at 11:00 AM, pastor Dan Foreman officiating. The passing of Cecil Albert Harding of Burtts Corner, NB, husband of the late Mary Elizabeth “Betty” (Pond) Harding occurred on Thursday, January 17, 2019 at his home. Born on February 19, 1925 in Nashwaaksis, NB, he was the son of the late Edward and Bessie (Starr) Harding. Cecil served in the Canadian Armed Forces as an Aero-Engine Mechanic. He was a member of the Royal Canadian Legion Branch # 15. Cecil is survived by his sons, Donald Harding (Diane) of Fredericton, NB, Charles Harding of McLeod Hill, NB and Jim Harding (Richard) of Dieppe, NB; three grandchildren; two great grandchildren; brother, Robert Harding of Fredericton, NB; several nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents and wife, Cecil was predeceased by his sister, Muriel and brothers, John “Jack” and Reginald; daughter-in-law, Corinne Harding. There will be no services by request. A Private Graveside Service will take place in Dorn Ridge Cemetery. For those who wish, remembrances may be made to the charity of the donor’s choice.
