Obituary of Gordon MacLaughlin

The passing of Gordon “Corey” Elburne MacLaughlin occurred on December 30, 2018 at the Dr. Everett Chalmers Regional Hospital. Born on May 6, 1977 in Middleton, NS, he was the son of Vella MacLaughlin. Corey worked for Easter Seals for 21 years and was a member of the Nashwaaksis United Church. In addition to his mother, Corey is survived by his great aunt, Mavis MacLaughlin; cousins, Ken and Vena Porter. He was predeceased by his maternal grandparents, Elburne and Mazie MacLaughlin; aunt, Edwinna Budrow. Visitation will take place at York Funeral Home, 302 Brookside Drive on Wednesday, January 2, 2019 from 7-9 pm. A Funeral Service will take place at York Funeral Home’s T. Gordon MacLeod Memorial Chapel on Thursday, January 3, 2019 at 10 am with Rev. Franklin Curtis officiating. In lieu of flowers, remembrances may be made to the Prince William Cemetery.
