PALMER, PERLEY EDWARD 1943-2018 After a long and courageous battle with cancer, it is with profound sadness that we announce that Perley Edward Palmer completed his journey here on earth Friday, December 21, 2018 at Hospice. Home at last and safe in the Father’s arms. An incredible man! An incredible life! He was born on February 10, 1943 in Doaktown, NB. He was predeceased by his father, Perley Palmer Sr. Perley will be missed by the love of his life, Valerie Palmer, his mother, Edith Kelly of Victoria, BC; also missed by his children, Faye Kiss (Andrew); Michael Palmer (Charmaine) and Kelly Kim (Ill); his children of his heart, Pastor Theo Craig (Cheryl) and Patricia Price; treasured grandchildren, Juliana Paul, Janelle Peters (Chris), Jessica Peters, Jeremy Peters (Jessica), Justin Peters, Jacob Peters, Ashley Doucette (Nick), Corey Craig (Charlotte), Christian Craig (Celine) Daniel Palmer, Taylor Kiss, Garam, Hun Ju and Guy Ju Kim; great grandchildren, Nolan and Liam Peters, Addy, Piper and Palmer Chambers, Jaxon Fraser, Gabrielle and Bowden Doucette; he was a much loved brother of Roger Palmer (Cathy) and Ivan Palmer (Janet); he will be missed by his brothers in law, Ronald Ross (Mid), Bill Ross (Gayle) and Roger Ross (Elaine); greatly missed by fur baby Muffin; several nieces and nephews and their families. Thank you to all the doctors, nurses and staff both at Extra Mural, Dr. Everett Chalmers Regional and Saint John Regional Hospitals, and Hospice that helped Perley’s journey with cancer easier. Our hearts are filled with thankfulness for all the visits from family and friends. Thank you Perley, my best friend and husband, you will always be remembered for the happiness and laughter you brought into my life. Forever you are loved. Thank you for the beautiful memories. A Service of Remembrance will be held at Hope City Church, Clement Drive, Fredericton, NB on Thursday, December 27, 2018 at 11am. Family members will receive guests at a reception immediately following the service. Service will be under the direction of Pastors Joe and Justin Beesley. Interment will take place in Sunny Bank Cemetery at a later date. Donations in Perley’s memory may be made to Hospice Fredericton, Hope City Church, Canadian Cancer Society or the charity of the donor’s choice.
