Obituary of Eugene MacNeill

Life Legacy The passing of Eugene “Genie” Edmond MacNeill of Marysville, NB occurred on Friday, December 21, 2018 at the Dr. Everett Chalmers Regional Hospital. Born on June 28, 1945 in Burtts Corner, NB, he was the son of the late Durwood and Bertha (Price) MacNeill. Genie spent his final years at McKay’s Care Home in Marysville in Glady’s care, and was a good friend of Danny and Byron. Genie is survived by his siblings, Floyd MacNeill, Leona Wiggins (Norman), Gloria Northorp, Al MacNeill (Joan), Mabel Pugh (Kenn), Katherine MacNeill, Richard MacNeill and Robert MacNeill; sister in law, Anne MacNeill; aunt, Gertrude Price; several nieces and nephews. Besides his parents, he was predeceased by his sister, Ruby Roberts; brother, John MacNeill; nephew, Chris Roberts; sister in law, Viola MacNeill and brother in law, Gerald Northorp. A Memorial Service will be held from Burtts Corner Baptist Church on Saturday, June 1, 2019 at 2 pm with Rev. Stephen Hoyt officiating. Interment will take place in Burtts Corner Community Cemetery.
