Obituary of Alice Raymond

Alice Mae (Murchison) Raymond of Fredericton, NB passed away on Tuesday, December 18, 2018 at the Dr. Everett Chalmers Regional Hospital. She was born April 7, 1932. She had a very successful career with Fraser in Edmundston, where she lived with her late husband. Upon retirement, they moved to Fredericton. Alice had a love for art and her family. She often enjoyed the company of her many nieces and nephews. She will be missed. She was predeceased by dear husband, Guy Raymond; sister, Marion; brother, Gerald Murchison; brothers-in-law, Nickolaj Pedersen and George Raymond. Alice was the daughter of the late Stanley and Dorothy (Reynold) Murchison. Alice will be remembered for her kindness and love by her sister, Judith (Brian) Matheson; sisters-in-law, Susan Murchison, Muriel Raymond, Claudette O’Neil and Simone Samson; many special nieces and nephews. Visitation will take place at York Funeral Home’s T. Gordon MacLeod Memorial Chapel, Fredericton, New Brunswick on Saturday, December 22, 2018 from 1-2 pm followed immediately by the funeral service at 2 pm with Rev. Paul Thompson officiating. Interment will take place in St. Mary’s Anglican Cemetery at a later date. For those who wish, remembrances may be made to the charity of the donor’s choice.
