Obituary of Luke Arbeau
The passing of Luke John Arbeau of Fredericton, NB, husband of Deborah (Williston) Arbeau occurred on Monday, December 10, 2018 at the Dr. Everett Chalmers Regional Hospital. Born on October 2, 1953 in Upper Blackville, NB, he was the son of the late Frank and Mary (Peterson) Arbeau. He was a truck driver and heavy equipment operator for Hughes Sand and Gravel. Luke enjoyed spending time on his four wheeler, liked helping friends and neighbours; he also loved spending time with his family and grandchildren.
In addition to his wife, Luke is survived by his sons, Daniel Arbeau (Angela), Shawn Arbeau and Calvin Noel; daughters, Dawn Arbeau (Barry) and Amanda Donaher (Mark); grandchildren, Abby, Brady, Brody, Brook, Hunter, Hailey, Dakota, Paige, Colton, Mackenzie and Austin; siblings, John Arbeau (Linda), Neil Arbeau (Judy), Carol Carson (Dave), Marjorie Arbeau, Della Doucette (Blair) and Faye Earle (Scott); several nieces and nephews. Besides his parents, he was predeceased by his brother, Floyd Arbeau.
Visitation will take place at York Funeral Home, 302 Brookside Drive on Wednesday, December 12, 2018 from 7-9 pm. The Memorial Service will take place at York Funeral Home’s T. Gordon MacLeod Memorial Chapel on Thursday, December 13, 2018 at 2 pm with Mr. Dwight McCoy officiating. Interment will take place in Sunny Bank Cemetery at a later date.
