Obituary of Carol Gibson

It is with great sadness we announce the passing of Carol Anne (Long) Gibson of Fredericton, NB, wife of the late Henry “Hank” Gibson on Sunday, November 25, 2018 at the Dr. Everett Chalmers Regional Hospital. Born on January 1, 1951 in Fredericton, NB, she was the daughter of Eleanore DeSaulniers and the late David Long. Carol worked as a Bank Teller and Loans Officer, and owned and operated Gibson’s Kitchens with her husband, Hank in Keswick, ON. She enjoyed playing bingo, drawing, reading and horseback riding. Carol is survived by her daughter, Shawnalee Wolscht (Robert); grandchildren, Lauren and Mark Wolscht; sisters, Wendy and Barbara Long both of Fredericton, NB. There will be a visitation at York Funeral Home, 302 Brookside Drive on Wednesday, November 28, 2018 from 6 to 8 pm. For those who wish, remembrances may be made to the Fredericton SPCA or Canadian Mental Health Association. Special thanks to the staff in ICU for their care and support.
