Obituary of Joseph Lavigne

With deep regret we announce the passing of Joseph "Albert" Leonard Lavigne, 85, of Fredericton. Albert died peacefully on November 16th, 2018 at Hospice of Fredericton surrounded by loved ones. He was predeceased by his wife of 55 years, Loretta Doucet; his parents, Albert and Blanche Lavigne; sisters, Marcella, Marie Blanche, Gabrielle; and brothers, Paul and Leonard; and two grandchildren. Albert is survived by his spouse of 9 years, Mary LeBlanc; sisters, Annette, Bibianne, Jeannine, Yvette; brothers, Herman, Donald, Claude; children; daughters, Jackie, Marie, Rolande, Denise, Nicole, Rose-Marie, Jeanne, Carole, Arlene, Kim and Karen; sons, Richard, Leon, Roger, Danny; their spouses and partners, 24 grand children and 38 great-grand children. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated from St. Theresa's Catholic Church on Wednesday, November 21, 2018 at 11 am with Father Martin Arputham as celebrant. Interment will take place in St. Anthony's Cemetery at a later date. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to Hospice of Fredericton or the charity of one's choice.
