Obituary of Dennis Doiron

The passing of Dennis Joseph Doiron of Zionville, NB, husband of Anna Emily (MacKinnon) Doiron occurred on Thursday, November 15, 2018 at the Dr. Everett Chalmers Regional Hospital. Born on October 19, 1957 in Fredericton, NB, he was the son of the late Ben and Angeline (Benoit) Doiron. Dennis was a Civil Servant working for the Department of Transportation. He was an avid hunter who loved the wood, travelling and fishing. In addition to his wife, Dennis is survived by his children; Jonathon Doiron (Amanda), Andrew (Terri-Ann) and daughter, Michelle; grandson, Xavier Doiron; brothers, Jean-Yves (Barb), Raymond (Ann-Marie), Neil (Gerri-Ellen), Roger (Ruth) Doiron; sister, Tina Doiron; mother-in-law, Dorothy MacKinnon; several nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by his brothers, Lucien, Allord and Lucien Doiron. Visitation will take place at York Funeral Home, 302 Brookside Drive on Sunday November 18, 2018 from 6-8 pm. A Funeral Mass will take place at St. Anthony’s Catholic Church, Fredericton, NB on Monday, November 19, 2018 at 11 am with Father Monte Peters and Father Martin Arputham as celebrants. Interment will take place at St. Anthony’s Cemetery, Fredericton, NB at a later date. For those who wish, remembrances may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society.
