Obituary of Esther Griffiths

The passing of Esther Eveleen Griffiths of Fredericton, NB, wife of the late Guthrie Griffiths occurred on Tuesday, October 23, 2018 at the Mountainside Lodge. Born on August 15, 1933 in Fredericton, NB, Esther was the daughter of the late Trueman and Mary (Mazerolle) Parsons. Esther was a self employed hairdresser for 44 years, and was very involved in the Marysville Baptist Church. Esther is survived by her daughter, Debi Arnold of Penniac, NB; grandchildren, Kathryn Hunter, Ben Arnold, Jake and Ben Griffiths; six great grandchildren; sister, Marie Griffiths; special niece, Ann Quartermain; several nieces and nephews. Besides her husband and parents, she was predeceased by her son, Danny Griffiths; several brothers and sisters. Visitation will take place at York Funeral Home’s T. Gordon MacLeod Memorial Chapel on Saturday, October 27, 2018 from 12-2 pm; followed by a Memorial Service at 2 pm with Rev. Ralph Irving officiating.
