Obituary of Waldo Ross

ROSS, WALDO “BUDDY” HENRY The passing of Waldo “Buddy” Henry Ross, husband of Olga (Stewart) Ross of Boiestown, NB occurred on Tuesday, October 16, 2018 at the Central New Brunswick Nursing Home in Boiestown, NB. Born in Holtville, NB on March 8, 1936, he was a son of the late Harold and Gladys (Lyons) Ross. Buddy was retired from V.A. Ross trucking and a member of Boiestown United Church. In addition to his wife of 34 years, Buddy is survived by his grandchildren, Julie MacDonald, Megan MacDonald, Nicole MacDonald (Josh Calder), Haley Stewart, Morgan Stewart (Andrew Ripley), April Charters and Kristy Charters; great-grandchildren, Chandler Stewart-Ripley, Kate Adele Cornell; step-children, Beverley Stewart (Daphne) and Kelly Charters; son-in-law, Roy MacDonald; sisters, Ruth Betts, Daisy Gillis (Charles), Rowena Hunter (Winston), Pauline Urquhart and Brenda Sparkes (Robert); several nieces and nephews. Besides his parents, Buddy was predeceased by his first wife, Nina (McKay) Ross; daughters, Kathy King and Elaine MacDonald; grandson, Ross King; sisters, Gloria Hossack and Christina Beers; brother, H. Murray Ross. Visitation will take place at Miramichi Valley Chapel, 7681 Route 8, New Bandon, NB on Thursday, October 18, 2018 from 2-4 and 7-9 pm. A Funeral Service will be held from Miramichi Valley Chapel on Friday, October 19, 2018 at 2 pm with Rev. Brian Curtis officiating. Interment will be in Cameron Hill Cemetery.
