Obituary of Sterling Lyons

The passing of Sterling Young Lyons, of Priceville, NB, husband of Leona (Munn) Lyons, occurred on Thursday, September 20, 2018 at his home. Born on March 14, 1949 in Carroll’s Crossing, NB, he was a son of the late Clifford and Dora (Beek) Lyons. Besides his wife, Sterling is survived by his step-daughter, Anita Gillespie (Derwin) of Blissfield, NB; step-son, Frederick Colford of Fredericton, NB; sister, Elizabeth Munn (Allen) of Hayesville, NB and brothers, Dexter Lyons of Carroll’s Crossing, Lawson Lyons of ON, Luther Lyons of Vancouver, BC and Lorne “Herbie” Lyons; several nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by his brothers, Larry, Lloyd and infant Harding. A Graveside Service will take place in McNamee Pentecostal Cemetery, Porter Cove, NB on Sunday, September 23, 2018 at 2 pm with Rev. Allison Cromwell officiating.
