Obituary of Roger Gauvin

The passing of Roger “Doug” Gauvin occurred on Friday, August 31, 2018. Born in Woodstock, NB he was the son of Janet (Gauvin) Taylor and the late Doug Ivey. Doug enjoyed playing video games, listening to music his favourite artist being Bryan Adams, wrestling, watching movies and spending time with his son. The proudest day of his life was when his son was born; the second was when he earned his Masters degree in Theology. Besides his mother, Doug is survived by his son, Jim Gilzean and Darlene Gilzean, to whom he was married to for 14 wonderful years. Visitation will take place at York Funeral Home, 302 Brookside Drive, Fredericton NB, on Wednesday, September 5, 2018 from 6 to 8 pm. In lieu of flowers, remembrances may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation of New Brunswick. Personal condolences may be offered through www.yorkfh.com
