Obituary of Jean King

The passing of Jean Mitchell King, of Fredericton, NB, wife of the late Lionel H. King, occurred on August 26, 2018 at York Care Centre, Fredericton, NB. Born on December 18, 1919 in Moose Jaw, SK, she was the daughter of the late Alexander “Sandy” and Janet (McKeen) Campbell. Jean was previously a member of St. Andrews United Church of Canada, Moose Jaw, SK and Central United Church of Canada, Calgary, AB. She was presently a member of Keswick Ridge United Church. Jean is survived by her daughter, Mary A. Campbell (Austin) of Orleans, ON and her grandson, Christopher Campbell of Vancouver, BC. A Memorial Service will be held from York Funeral Home’s T. Gordon MacLeod Memorial Chapel on Saturday, September 29, 2018 at 1 pm with Rev. David Luker. Interment will take place in Scotch Settlement Cemetery, Scotch Settlement, NB. For those who wish, remembrances may be made to the Keswick Ridge United Church or to the Alzheimer Society and would be appreciated by the family.
