Obituary of Austin Estey

Austin "Pat” L. Estey 80, died accidently on Saturday, August 18, 2018. Pat was born on April 14, 1938 in Durham Bridge, NB where he was a lifelong resident. Pat is survived by his sons, Donald Estey (Yvonne), Kevin Estey (Trudi) and Rodney Estey (Barb Miles, mother of his children); daughter, Sheila Munn (Carl); grandchildren, Tracy (Pete), Allison (Chris), Kelsi (Colin), Sheldon, Kodi, Kahli (Cam), Sarah (Josh), Taylor (Colton), Nicholas (Bailey) and Jamie; great grandchildren, Lily, Jason, Grace, Kaleb, Carson, Owen, Callie, Leah and Austin. Pat was the last surviving member of his immediate family; he is survived by many nieces, nephews and cousins. He was predeceased by his parents, Eldon and Thelma (Whittie) Estey; sister, Madeline; brother, Bobby and infant siblings, Nathan and Marjorie. Visitation will take place at York Funeral Home, 302 Brookside Drive on Friday, August 24, 2018 from 2-4 and 7-9 pm. The Funeral Service will take place at York Funeral Home’s T. Gordon MacLeod Memorial Chapel on Saturday, August 25, 2018 at 1 pm with Rev. David Williston and Father Monte Peters officiating. Interment will take place in Lower Durham Cemetery.
