Life Legacy
Jacqueline “Jackie” Estey, 79 died accidently on Saturday, August 18, 2018.
Jackie was born September 7, 1938 in St. Anselme, NB where she spent her childhood. She then moved to Durham Bridge, after she met and fell in love with Pat, they resided there happily in their community. Jackie had a career as a teacher, and was a dedicated community volunteer with the Durham Bridge Rec Centre. Pat had various jobs throughout his life, lastly being a custodian in the local school district.
Jackie is survived by her sons, Donald Estey (Yvonne), Kevin Estey (Trudi) and Rodney Estey (Barb Miles, mother of his children); daughter, Sheila Munn (Carl); grandchildren, Tracy (Pete), Allison (Chris), Kelsi (Colin), Sheldon, Kodi, Kahli (Cam), Sarah (Josh), Taylor (Colton), Nicholas (Bailey) and Jamie; great grandchildren, Lily, Jason, Grace, Kaleb, Carson, Owen, Callie, Leah and Austin.
Jackie is also survived by sisters, Doreen Leger (Late Mathias), Sylvia Cormier (Roger), Eva Mai Gayton (Mike); three step sisters, Lilliane Roy (Denis), Bernice LeBlanc and Suzanne; three step brothers, Gilles LeBlanc (Linda), Roger LeBlanc and George LeBlanc; godson, Jimmy LaBillois; several nieces, nephews and friends.
Jackie was predeceased by her parents, Gerald and Eva (Savoie) LeBlanc; her brother, Armand LeBlanc and step mother, Doris.
Visitation will take place at York Funeral Home, 302 Brookside Drive on Friday, August 24, 2018 from 2-4 and 7-9 pm. The Funeral Service will take place at York Funeral Home’s T. Gordon MacLeod Memorial Chapel on Saturday, August 25, 2018 at 1 pm with Rev. David Williston and Father Monte Peters officiating. Interment will take place in Lower Durham Cemetery. For those who wish, remembrances may be made to the Nashwaak Valley Home and School Breakfast Program or the charity of the donor’s choice. Personal condolences may be offered through www.yorkfh.com
