Obituary of Doris McKeil

MCKEIL, DORIS ANN The passing of Doris Ann (Colford) McKeil of Holtville, NB, wife of Clayton McKeil, occurred on Sunday, August 19, 2018 at Hospice Fredericton. Born on August 20, 1941 in Howard Siding, NB she was the daughter of the late William and Ella (Porter) Colford. Doris enjoyed knitting and playing Bingo. In addition to her husband, Doris is survived by her daughters, Sheila Price (Wade), Maxine McKeil McCarty (Merrill), and Faye Young (Darcy); sons, Frank (Tena), Perry (Shawna) and Clayton Jr. (Janice Crawford); eight grandchildren; seven great grandchildren; sister, Mary Colford; brother Gary Colford and several nieces and nephews. Besides her parents, Doris was predeceased by her sisters, Noreen, Pat and Marguerite, and brothers, Basil and Ernie. Visitation will take place on Tuesday, August 21, 2018 from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 pm at Miramichi Valley Chapel, 7681 Route 8, New Bandon, NB. A Funeral Service will be held at Miramichi Valley Chapel on Wednesday, August 22, 2018 at 2 pm with Rev. Paul McGrattan officiating. Interment will take place in Cameron Hill Cemetery.
