Obituary of William Murdock

The passing of William “Bill” Alexander Murdock, husband of Mavis (Wilson) Murdock, occurred on Thursday, August 16, 2018 at the Veterans Health Unit in Fredericton, NB. Born on September 28, 1929 in Fredericton, he was a son of the late Fred and Maud (Coulsey) Murdock. Bill worked at Base Gagetown prior to retirement. In addition to his wife of 63 years, Bill is survived by his daughter, Ann Marie Dorian (Raymond) of Fredericton, NB; grandchildren, Troy and Becky; great-grandchildren, Lilly, Chase and Reid Ouellet; sister, Dawn Marie Woods of Marysville, NB; several nieces and nephews. Besides his parents, Bill was predeceased by sister, Freda; brothers, John, Ronnie, Peter, Bobby, Buster, Dougie and Jackie. At Bill’s request, there will be no visitation or service. Interment will take place at a later date at the National Military Cemetery of Canada, Beechwood, Ottawa, ON.
