Life Legacy
The sudden passing of Archibald “Archie” “Buckwheat” Clarence Carson, husband of Barbara (Carey) Carson of Holtville, NB occurred on Friday, August 3, 2018 at the Dr. Everett Chalmers Regional Hospital in Fredericton, NB. Born in Holtville, NB on July 27, 1945, Archie was a son of the late William and Esther (McKeil) Carson. Archie spent many years helping families as the caretaker of Cameron Hill Cemetery. He was a woodsworker and carpenter. In his free time he enjoyed getting out on his 4-wheeler.
In addition to his wife of 50 years, Archie is survived by a daughter, Krista MacKenzie (James) of Durham Bridge, NB; grandchildren, Matthew, Samuel, Benjamin and Gabriel MacKenzie; brother, Holly Carson (Valerie) of Holtville, NB; sisters, Alice McGillan (Rev. Winston) of Lundar, MB, Donna McKeil (Jack) of Hazelton, NB, Mary Rushton (Tom) of Prince George, BC, Twila Brown (Mark) of Rowley, NB; several nieces and nephews.
Besides his parents, Archie was predeceased by a daughter, Deanna Carson; and a sister, Annie Cameron.
A Funeral Service will be held at Miramichi Valley Chapel, 7681 Route 8, New Bandon, NB on Tuesday, August 7, 2018 at 3 pm with Rev. Roger Mitchell officiating.
