Obituary of Edith Grant

The passing of Edith Jean Grant of Fredericton, NB, wife of the late Gordon Grant occurred on Friday, August 3, 2018 at home. Born on June 17, 1930 in Stewiacke, NS, she was the daughter of the late Edward and Pearl (Helpard) Crawford. Edith worked at the Wandlyn. Edith is survived by her daughters, Sheila Dionne (Ron), Charlotte Stewart (Greg), Patricia Price (Larry) and Doreen Bruneau (Cory); sons, Don, Harry (Christine), Steven (Toni) and Dennis Grant; many grandchildren, great grandchildren and great great grandchildren; sister, Edna Dean (Basil) and Gloria Crawford; brothers, Roy and Ernie (Louise) Crawford; several nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents and husband, she was predeceased by her infant sons, Roy and Ronald; sisters, Dorothy, Joyce, Helen and her brother, Danny. There will be a private graveside service at Pine Grove Cemetery, Stewiacke, NS at a later date. For those who wish, remembrances may be made to the charity of the donor’s choice.
