Obituary of Avis Donovan

DONOVAN, AVIS MARIE It is with great sadness that the family announce the passing of Avis Marie Donovan of Lincoln, NB, partner of the late Frank Cormier which occurred on Tuesday, July 31, 2018 at the Dr. Everett Chalmers Regional Hospital, after a lengthy illness. Born on November 4, 1935 in Fredericton, NB, she was the daughter of the late Roy and Nellie (Clark) Campbell. She worked at One Hour Martinizing Dry Cleaners. She enjoyed travelling to Florida, and in her later years travelling around the province taking pictures. Avis is survived by her granddaughter, Sara Donovan; great grandson, Andres; sisters, Connie Gilmore and Betty MacWilliam both of Fredericton, NB and Joyce Campbell of Kingston, NB; brothers, Don Campbell (Annie) of Devon, AB and Ben Campbell (Pat) of Liverpool, NS; several nieces, nephews and cousins. In addition to her parents and partner, she was predeceased by her son, Michael Donovan; sisters, Marjorie Richards, Kay Estey and her brother, Dave Campbell. A Private Graveside Service will take place in Fredericton Rural Cemetery at a later date. For those who wish, remembrances may be made to the New Brunswick Lung Association.
