Obituary of Pauline Giberson

Pauline, daughter of Frederick William Blue and Effie Geneva (Watters) Blue, passed away peacefully and with grace surrounded by family at Hospice Fredericton. Predeceased by her loving husband John Giberson (1992) who spoiled her rotten and she loved every moment of it, her sister Glenna Knowlton (1999), her two brothers Hubert Blue (2005) and Arthur Blue (2016) who all tormented her with chickens growing up on the farm and sister-in-law Audrey who was her Hearts partner for years. Pauline is survived by her daughter, Tammy and her husband Chris (Seymour), and her son, Allan Giberson and his wife Jane (McGinn), who all kept her honest when counting points in Cribbage. Her three granddaughters, Abigail Giberson (Matthew Gillis), Racheal Seymour, Alaina Seymour and two grandsons, Aaron Giberson (Bette Bayer) and Seth Giberson who all treated themselves to “Grammy’s Kitchen” from time to time. She is also survived by her sister-in-law, Barbara Ward and her husband Russel and sister-in-law Marion Blue and several nieces and nephews. Pauline was a 30 year volunteer at York Care Centre where she found many great friends and gave her energy and time with love. Her family will be forever grateful to the staff and volunteers at Hospice Fredericton who provided Pauline with the same care and kindness. Visitation will take place at York Funeral Home, 302 Brookside Drive on Sunday, July 22, 2018 from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 pm. The Funeral Service will take place at York Funeral Home’s T. Gordon MacLeod Memorial Chapel on Monday, July 23, 2018 at 2 pm with Pastor Normand McDonald officiating. Interment will take place in Douglas Rural Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, the family suggest donations to be made in Pauline’s name to York Care Centre or Hospice Fredericton. Personal condolences may be offered through www.yorkfh.com
