Obituary of Frederick Sullivan
The family of Frederick Harold Sullivan of McLeod Hill Road is saddened to share that he passed away at the Dr. Everett Chalmers Regional Hospital on Wednesday, July 4, 2018, with his family by his side. Fred was born in Fredericton, NB on February 1, 1940 to Wilfred and Eva (Boreland) Sullivan. In his life time, Fred was the owner and operator of Sullivan Taxi (Diamond Taxi), Sullivan Rental Inc., Fred Auto Sales (Auto City) and drove bus for the then district 26 schools.
He is survived by his wife, Wendy (Curtis-Sullivan) of 43 years; children, daughter, Nya (Paul Black), grandchildren, Jake, Quinn and Ella; son, Jason (Jacki Currie), grandchildren, Shane and Erin; daughter, Dana Sullivan, Brie (Jason Hunter), grandchildren, Nathan, Jaxon, Mattie Jean and Andie; son, Derek (Holly Hunt), grandchildren, Hilary, Noah and Baby A&B who will be arriving in a few weeks; son, Brett (Rebeka Bryden), grandchildren, Sylas and Charlie; last surviving sibling, James Sullivan (Barb Kerton) of London, ON; several nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by his step mother, Winnifred Sullivan; sisters, Carol MacDonald and Mary McLean, and brother, Robert.
Visitation will take place at York Funeral Home, 302 Brookside Drive on Friday, July 6, 2018 from 4-8 pm. A Funeral Service will take place at York Funeral Home’s T. Gordon MacLeod Memorial Chapel on Saturday, July 7, 2018 at 1 pm with Dr. Larry Saunders officiating. Interment will take place in St. Paul’s Anglican Cemetery, Zealand, NB.
