Obituary of Dorothy Carr

The passing of Dorothy Carr, of Doaktown, NB, occurred on Thursday, June 7, 2018 at the Dr. Everett Chalmers Regional Hospital. Born on August 4, 1936 in Doaktown, NB, she was a daughter of the late John and Jessie (Betts) Carr. Dorothy is survived by brother, Clinton (Manny) Carr of Doaktown, NB; several nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her sisters, Leota Brown and Viola Carr; brothers, Clayton, Floyd, Earl, Elmer and John Jr. Visitation will take place at Miramichi Valley Chapel, 7681 Route 8, New Bandon, NB on Sunday, June 10, 2018 from 6 to 9 pm. A Memorial Service will be held from Miramichi Valley Chapel on Monday, June 11, 2018 at 12 pm with Rev. Brian Curtis officiating with a reception to follow at St. Thomas United Church, Doaktown. Honouary Pallbearers will be Gary Long, Merle Long, Colin Storey, Malcolm Brown Jr., Cedric Storey, Henry Carr, Larry Carr, Ken Carr, Eldon Carr, Glen Storey and Ronald Carr. Interment will take place in St. Thomas United Cemetery, Doaktown, NB. For those who wish, remembrances may be made to the charity of the donor’s choice.
