Obituary of Bonita Sturney

It is with sad hearts that we announce the passing of Bonnie Lee Sturney of Fredericton, NB at the Dr. Everett Chalmers Regional Hospital on Wednesday, May 23, 2018. Born in Fredericton, NB on June 30, 1955, she was the daughter of the late Edgar and Phyllis (Savage) Wheeler. She will be deeply missed by her son, Jonah and daughter, Amy (Russell); several grandchildren; nieces and nephews. Also left to grieve are her siblings, John (Wendy), Tim (Carol), Lori (Steve), Debra (Gil), Jeanne (John) and David. In addition to her parents, Bonnie was predeceased by her nephew, Troy Price. Visitation will take place at York Funeral Home, 302 Brookside Drive on Saturday, May 26, 2018 from 6-9 pm. A Memorial Service will take place at York Funeral Home’s T. Gordon MacLeod Memorial Chapel on Monday, May 28, 2018 at 2 pm with Rev. Peter Moore officiating. Interment will be in Dayton Cemetery, Douglas, NB.
