Obituary of Cynthia Pineault

It is with great sadness that the family of Cynthia “Lil Cin” Lee (Astles) Pineault wife of Derrick Pineault announce her passing on Wednesday, May 16, 2018. Born on April 24, 1960 in Fredericton, NB, she was the daughter of the late Harry and Alice (Johnson) Astles. Cindy was employed with the Province of New Brunswick for over 38 years. Cindy was always up for anything and loved everyone. Lil Cin loved being a hockey mom and a mother to anyone who walked through her door. Cindy loved her pets, Nikki and Charlie. In addition to her husband, Cindy is survived by her daughter, Erika Pineault (Ryan); sisters, Ruth Coffey and Pat Champagne (Dave); brothers, Shirley (Sharon), Dale (Lynne), Tony (Julia); numerous nieces, nephews and cousins. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her brother, Elwood. Visitation will take place at York Funeral Home, 302 Brookside Drive on Sunday, May 20, 2018 from 6-9 pm. A Celebration of Life Service will take place at York Funeral Home’s T. Gordon MacLeod Memorial Chapel on Monday, May 21, 2018 at 2 pm with Rev. Paul Thompson officiating.
