STEWART, NORMA JEAN It is with great sadness that the family of Norma Jean Stewart announce her passing on May 11, 2018. She was the daughter of the late Clayton and Beatrice Gormley, and was born at their homestead in Hardwood Ridge April 22, 1935. She is predeceased by her husband William Ronald Stewart, his brother Andrew, and his sisters Vera and Jean, her brothers Lenwood, and Donald, a sister Kathleen Buskard, a sister-in-law Caroline Gormley, brother-inlaw Gordon Bailey and an infant grandson Jared Andrew Betts. Norma is survived by her brothers Robert, Eugene, Winston, Charles and sisters Mary Bailey, Nancy Chapman, and Wanda Levasseur ; her late husbands’ sisters Ina and Faye ; Norma’s children : Ronald (Ying Yee) Stewart - and his children Benjamin (Sarah), Daniel (Melissa), Scott and Abigail; daughter Patricia (Richard) Hilliard and their children - Casey (Christine) and Jeffrey (Michelle) ; daughter Shelley (Wayde) Wong and their children Beatrice and Brennan; daughter Debbie Stewart (Danny Critchlow) and her children Erin Illsley, Meagan, Mike and Jake Betts; daughter Bonita (Tim) Brewster and her children Steven and Kyla Cosman. She is survived by 9 great grandchildren, Ben’s children Tyson, Devin, Corben, Shallyn, Deegan and Addison, Daniel’s daughter Brynn, and Casey’s children Elizabeth and Cameron, as well as nephews and nieces from far and wide. Celebrating her life, by way of a private memorial service at her Maquapit Lake summer home at a later date are her siblings, her children, and their families. There will probably be a Phase 10 game in there somewhere, in her honour. If desired, donations in Norma’s memory should be made to Hospice House in Fredericton, NB.
