Obituary of Annie Hoar

Annie Laura (Peterson) Hoar passed away peacefully on May 9, 2018 at Windsor Court. Born January 3, 1927, Annie was the daughter of the late F. Edgar and Hazel (Moore) Peterson and was the last surviving member of her family. Survived by her husband, Russell S. Hoar; son, D. Harold Moore (Sandra) of Fredericton, NB; daughter, Kathryn Moore of Regina, SK; grandson, Brian Moore (Laura) of Vancouver, BC; granddaughter, Deborah Moore of Toronto, ON; step-son, Paul Kelly (Cindy) of Ajax, ON; step-daughter, Candace Gibson of Toronto, ON; great grandchildren, Taylor and Devin Moore of Vancouver, BC; step-granddaughter, Shannon Ellis (Tyler); step-great grandson, Landon and sisters-in-law, Jane Peterson of Fredericton, NB, Marjorie Gibson of Moncton, NB and Edie Hoar of Boundry Creek, NB along with many nieces, nephews and their families. She was predeceased by her parents; brothers, Harley (Hush) (Pearl), Walter (Brub) (Jane), Darragh (Plush) (Althea) and sister, Vaughan Chase (Charles). Annie was a member of Marysville Baptist Church having served as a choir member, assistant organist and pianist for many years. A very special thank you to the staff at Windsor Court for the kindness, support and assistance shown to Annie during her stay there. Visitation will take place at York Funeral Home, 302 Brookside Drive, Fredericton, NB on Sunday, May 13, 2018 from 7 to 9 pm. A Funeral Service will be held from Marysville Baptist Church, Marysville, NB on Monday, May 14, 2018 at 2 pm with Rev. Ralph Irving and Rev. Jason Hinsdale officiating. Interment will take place in Marysville Baptist Extension Cemetery.
