Obituary of Violet Abigosis

The passing of Violet Rose Abigosis of Fredericton, NB, wife of the late Dennis Flarity occurred on Monday, May 7, 2018 at the Dr. Everett Chalmers Regional Hospital. Born on July 22, 1959 in Pine Creek, MN, she was the daughter of the late Walter and Joyce (Sumner) Abigosis. Violet was very active at St. John the Evangelist Anglican Church. She survived having cancer twice. Violet enjoyed colouring and most important she loved her family. Violet is survived by her sons, Richard Stevens (Samantha) of Fredericton, NB and Alexander Stevens-Abigosis of Toronto, ON; daughter, Candace Stevens of Fredericton, NB grandchildren, Brody Stevens, Violet Stevens, Bethany Stevens and Alexia Stevens; step grandchildren, Joan and Karry Hill; very good friend, Geri Fernet of Saskatchewan. There will be no visitation by request. A Memorial Service will take place at St. John the Evangelist Anglican Church on Monday, May 14, 2018 at 2 pm with Rev. Paul Ranson officiating. Interment will take place in St. John the Evangelist Anglican Cemetery. For those who wish, remembrances may be made to the family to help with funeral cost or to the charity of the donor’s choice.
