Obituary of William Brown

BROWN, WILLIAM “LAWRENCE” The passing William “Lawrence” Brown of Tay Creek, NB occurred on Thursday, May 3, 2018 at the Dr. Everett Chalmers Regional Hospital. Born on May 23, 1935 in Avery’s Portage, NB, he was the son of the late William and Sophia (Dykeman) Brown. Lawrence was Forest Ranger with the Province of New Brunswick. Lawrence is survived by his children, Wendell Brown of Moncton, NB, Belinda Hasson (Nick) of Fredericton, NB and Stephanie McKay (Brent) of Sussex, NB; grandchildren, Lacey Hasson, Nicole Smith (Paul), Steven Hasson and Bradley Hasson; several nieces and nephews. He was the last surviving member of his immediate family. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his daughter, Joy; infant granddaughter, Emily Dawn; sisters, Elaine, Freda and Eleanor; brothers, Mackie, Alexander and Bryan. Although there will be no services held at this time; a Graveside Service will take place in Astle Community Cemetery at a later date.
