Obituary of Barbara Garrity

The passing of Barbara Geraldine (Sherwood) Garrity, of Maugerville, NB, wife of Raymond Garrity, occurred on April 26, 2018 at the Dr. Everett Chalmers Regional Hospital. Born on September 12, 1949 in Fredericton, NB, she was a daughter of the late Harry and Edith (Armstrong) Sherwood. Besides her husband, Barbara is survived by her sons, Robert and Bradley Garrity; many grandsons and granddaughters; brother, Walter Sherwood and many nieces and nephews. Visitation will take place at York Funeral Home’s T. Gordon MacLeod Memorial Chapel, Fredericton, NB on Saturday, May 5, 2018 from 12 until service time at 2 pm with Rev. Dr. Peter Sherwood officiating. For those who wish, remembrances may be made to the charity of the donor’s choice.
