Obituary of Daniel Poirier

The passing of Daniel Paul “Danny” Poirier, of Fredericton, NB, occurred on Tuesday, April 24, 2018 at the Dr. Everett Chalmers Regional Hospital. He was born on January 16, 1957 in Saint John, NB. Danny was a member of St. Dunstan’s Parish, Mactaquac Golf Club and Crabbe Mountain where he loved to play golf and ski. Danny is survived by his birth mother, Rita McLean (Jim); his sons, Adam Poirier (Joselyn) and Jermey Poirier (Paxcely); grandchildren, Caleb and Anna Poirier; sisters, Lana McLean and Virginia Chapman (Mark); brothers, Gerry Poirier and Tony McLean (Monica). He was predeceased by his parents, Arthur and Anne Poirier. Visitation will take place at York Funeral Home, 302 Brookside Drive, Fredericton, NB on Friday, April 27, 2018 from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 pm. A Funeral Service will be held at St. Dunstan’s Parish on Saturday, April 28, 2018 at 1 pm with Father Bill Brennan officiating. Interment will take place in Hermitage Cemetery at a later date.
