Obituary of Peter Vietrich

The passing of Peter Vietrich of Waasis, NB, husband of Ilse (Schwarz) Vietrich occurred on Monday, April 23, 2018 at the Dr. Everett Chalmers Regional Hospital. Born on December 15, 1939 in Frankfurt-Oder, Germany he was the son of Gertrud Vietrich. He was a truck driver. Peter enjoyed walking his dog, Blacky; he loved Canadian Tire and going to the Boyce Farmers Market. In addition to his wife, Peter is survived by his daughters, Gabbie, Petra, Sigrid, Michele (Darren) and Sandy (Heath); sons, Michael and Mark; seven grandchildren in Germany and Sierra, Danielle (Oliver), Quinton (Carlee), Brett, Ethan and Shawn; sister, Claudia and special aunt, Edith. He was preceded in death by his parents, and his brother, Michael. There will be no services by Peter’s request. For those who wish, remembrances may be made to the Oromocto SPCA.
