Life Legacy
The passing of Raymond Frederick Galloway of Fredericton, NB, husband of Evelyn Galloway (deceased) occurred on Sunday, April 22, 2018 at Shannex Parkland Fredericton. Born on May 28, 1926 in Devon, NB, he was the son of the late Frederick and Katherine (Rice) Galloway. Raymond was retired from the Canadian Armed Forces and the Department of Transportation NB. He enjoyed hunting, fishing and trapping in his younger years. Later he found a love of woodworking, specifically; wood carving which he did for over 30 years.
Raymond is survived by his sons, David Galloway (Janie) of Waasis, NB and Kevin Galloway (Roxanne) of New Maryland, NB; grandchildren, Amanda Galloway (Daniel Mongrain), Karen Galloway, Christina Galloway (Jacob Boyd), Brianna Galloway (John Morse) and Travis Galloway (Ana Filipovic); great grandchildren, Paislee Boyd, Malcolm Bradshaw, Nathaniel Galloway, Dahlia Galloway and Evelyn Morse. Besides his parents and wife, he was predeceased by his son, Dale Galloway; brother, Walter Galloway.
At Raymond’s request there will be no visitation or funeral service. At a later date, interment will take place at Scotch Settlement Cemetery with immediate family present.
