Obituary of Joyce Robinson

Surrounded by her loving family, Joyce Laurine (Harrison) Robinson, wife of the late Ray Robinson, occurred at her home in Doaktown on Saturday, April 14, 2018. Born in Priceville, Ontario on June 24, 1938 she was a daughter of the late Thomas and Mabel (Eccles) Harrison. Joyce retired as a file clerk for the Ontario Provincial Government and worked in the Department of Planning and Design. Joyce will be sadly missed by her daughter, Barbara Robinson of Doaktown, NB; son, Ray Robinson (Stacy Munn) of Oromocto, NB; grandchildren, Vanessa Ward (Lee Morrissey) and Melissa Ward; great-grandchildren, Laine, Victoria and Anna; sister-in-law, Elva Vickers; chosen daughters, Cheryl Jonah and Carolyn Robichaud; several nieces and nephews including her homecare worker, Linda Robinson. Besides her parents and husband, Joyce was predeceased by sisters, Isabelle and Hilda; brothers, Ralph, Jones and Stan. A Celebration of Joyce’s Life will be held at the St. Thomas United Church Hall, Doaktown, NB; to be announced later in the spring. Interment will be in St. Thomas United Cemetery at a later date.
