Obituary of Frederick MacKenzie

Life Legacy The passing of Frederick “Alton” MacKenzie of Fredericton, NB, husband of Judy (MacVay) MacKenzie occurred on Monday, April 9, 2018 at York Care Centre. Born on August 11, 1941 in Fredericton, NB, he was the son of the late Maurice and Dolores (Hanson) MacKenzie. He was the Service Manager at McIntosh Motors, Miramichi, NB. Alton liked snowmobiling, bowling, enjoyed country music, watching hockey and playing crib. In addition to his wife, Alton is survived by his daughter, Tricia MacKenzie; brother, Ken MacKenzie of South Napan, NB; nieces and nephews, and his special friend, Kevin Anderson. Besides his parents, he was predeceased by his daughter, Tanya Leigh MacKenzie and son, Kevin MacKenzie. A Memorial Service will take place in the Friendship Centre of York Care Centre on Saturday, April 14, 2018 at 1 pm with Pastor Normand McDonald officiating. In lieu of flowers, remembrances may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation of New Brunswick or the Fredericton SPCA. Personal condolences may be offered through www.yorkfh.com
