Obituary of Ruth Skowronski

The passing of Ruth Anita Skowronski of Keswick Ridge, NB, wife of the late Joseph Skowronski, occurred on Thursday, March 8, 2018 at the Dr. Everett Chalmers Regional Hospital. Born on July 11, 1925 in Halifax, NS she was the daughter of the late William and Ethel (Chipman) Newport. Ruth was a member of United Memorial Church, Halifax, NS. She was a past member of the Legion as well as Stadacona. Ruth enjoyed spending her time with her family, especially her kids and grandkids. She loved the Maritimes. Ruth is survived by her daughter, Jo-Anne Fanjoy (Roy) of Keswick Ridge, NB, Carolyn Duke of Keswick Ridge, NB and Beverley Dorrington (Russell) of Hamilton, ON; grandchildren, Deborah, Elmont, Michael, Angela, Christopher and Cory; six great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. In addition to her husband and parents, she was predeceased by her sisters, Jubilant Pushie and June Newport. There will be no services by request.
