Obituary of Perley Arbeau

The passing of Perley Wesley Arbeau of Blissfield, NB, husband of Maisie (Ward) Arbeau occurred on Friday, March 2, 2018 at the Veterans Health Unit. Born on May 12, 1922 in Blackville, NB, he was the son of Thomas and Lena Arbeau. Perley was a Veteran of WWII; he was a World War two veteran with the Canadian Army. He was a self employed truck driver. Perley was a member of the Abundant Life Church, and also a member of the Royal Canadian Legion, Doaktown, NB. In addition to his wife, Perley is survived by his children, Paulette Munn (Don Beairsto) of Fredericton, NB and Cynthia Lassetiar (Rick) of Edmonton, AB; son, Thomas Arbeau (Eva) of Nelson Hollow, NB; grandchildren, Michelle, Robbie, Adam, Sabrina, Tim, Cory, Amy and Jonathan; great grandchildren, Cole, Austin, Nate, Hannah, Anthony, Nicole, Jonathan, Erin, Andrea and Tanner; four great great grandchildren; sister, Marguerite Munn of Marysville, NB; brother, Lewis Arbeau (Gail) of Upper Blackville, NB; daughter in law, Audrey Arbeau of Doaktown, NB; several nieces and nephews; foster daughters, Cindy Cusack and Rhonda Holt. Besides his parents, Perley was predeceased by his son, Leonard Arbeau; grandson, Matthew Munn; sisters, Bernetta and Doreen; brothers, Miller, Phillip, Marven and Hubert. Visitation will take place at Miramichi Valley Chapel, New Bandon, NB on Monday from 6-8 pm. A Funeral Service will take place at Miramichi Valley Chapel on Tuesday at 2 pm with Rev Wayne Flowers and Rev. Ron Carroll officiating. Interment will take place in Doaktown Pentecostal Cemetery in the spring. For those who wish, remembrances may be made to the charity of the donor’s choice.
