Obituary of Marguerite Calhoun

The passing of Marguerite Alfreda (Munn) Calhoun, of Fredericton, NB, wife of Sterling L. Calhoun, occurred on Thursday, February 15, 2018 at the Dr. Everett Chalmers Regional Hospital. Born on March 22, 1936 in Bloomfield Ridge, NB, she was a daughter of the late Earle and Sadie (Scott) Munn. She was a member of Devon Park Baptist Church. Besides her husband, Marguerite is survived by her sisters, Althea Norrad of ON and Loretta Peacock (Wilson) of Williamsburg, NB; several nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her sisters, Merle Black and Audrey Abernethy brothers, Raymond, Harvey, Hershall, Delbert, Scott and infant brother, Vaughn. At Marguerite’s request there will be no visitation. A graveside service will take place at Sunny Bank Cemetery at a later date.
