Obituary of Ruth Marshall

Marshall, Ruth Anne The passing of Ruth Anne Marshall of Fredericton, NB wife of Robert “Bobby” Marshall occurred on Monday, February 12, 2018 at the Dr. Everett Chalmers Regional Hospital. Born on August 26, 1951 in Stanley, NB, she was the daughter of the late Lawrence and Helen (Fullarton) Flinn. Prior to her retirement she worked for X-Wave. Ruth enjoyed playing darts, listening to country music, bowling and especially loved spending time with her granddaughters and time spent at the Lake in Mill Cove. In addition to her husband of 49 years, Ruth is survived by her son, Matthew Marshall (Catrina) of Fredericton, NB; grandchildren, Sarah and Julie; sisters, Kay Hansen (Dave Long), Joyce Harvey and Helen Marie McDade (Gary) all of Fredericton, NB; brothers, Walter Flinn (Nancy) of Rusagonis, NB, Laurie Flinn (Sandra), Gary Flinn (Alice) and Bill Flinn all of Fredericton, NB; sister in law, Cindy Marshall of Fredericton, NB; several nieces and nephews. Besides her parents, she was predeceased by her sister in law, Debbie Flinn and brother in law, Terry “Teed” Marshall. A Celebration of Ruth’s Life will take place at York Funeral Home’s T. Gordon MacLeod Memorial Chapel on Friday, February 16, 2018 at 11 am with Rev. Chris Bennett officiating. Interment will take place in Marysville Baptist Cemetery at a later date.
