Cheryl has been a long time friend of our family mostly due to our younger years when we hung out together.Cheryl also lived with one of my sisters Sylvia(Jewett)Chase. She was a life long friend especially to my sister Cindy (Jewett)Oley .Her son Chase was good friends to Cindy son Ben Oley.Iconnie (Jewett') Harris worked along side of Cheryl as she was a support worker where I worked. WONDERFUL person she will be missed by all that knew her.

I genuinely regret your loss. I hope that in due time your family receives Gods peace that excels all thought, so that it will guard your hearts and your mental powers by means of Christ Jesus. God is called the Father of tender mercies and the God of all comfort, who comforts us in all our tribulation. Rest assured that he cares for all his creatures and he would never bring us suffering. A soothing scripture I like is Psalm 34:18 which reads: Jehovah is near to those that are broken at heart, and those who are crushed in spirit he saves. He promised that in the Paradise, we will have the prospect of enjoying life without end, free from all problems, accidents, and sickness. Even our dead loved ones like Cheryl will be resurrected. (Psalm 37:9, 29; John 5:28, 29) With all my sympathy for the loss of someone so dear.

Chase, I am so sorry to hear about your Mom. I remember the many good times Cheryl and I enjoyed together. Cheryl had a huge heart and was always there for others.
I have known her since our early twenties, nights at the Cosmo or just hanging out together. Cheryl was my Maid of Honor and I remember the night you were born, she called late that night to see if I could take her to the hospital. I stayed with her and was with her during your delivery. You were her pride and joy Chase.
We spent more time together when you and Ben were younger, celebrating your birthday parties and events at Garden Creek School. The last time I saw her was a few days after her 60th birthday in June. Life gets busy and time goes by, I wish we had more time together over the past few years.
Chase, she will always be with you in your heart and memories last a lifetime.
Cindy Oley

So very sorry to hear this sad news. Cheryl was one of my best friends when we were growing up. Even though we lost touch and grew apart during high school, we managed to reconnect and share an apartment as young working women.
When I think of Cheryl, I think of our youth, the Nashwaaksis Bowl-a-Drome where my mom worked, our trips to Zellers, her big beautiful
smile, our early teenage years, that episode in her basement while her parents slept blissfully unaware that a bunch of young girls were drinking
the illegally procured lemon gin (she didnt drink it, I did) and her love of playing cards. Hearts was her favourite if I remember correctly. So glad to have these memories and so very sad for her family. Please take care of yourselves.
