I had the privilege of working with Everette for more than 10 years at the UNB pool. He was always so kind and supportive to me and was a great friend. He was almost a coach to the swim team as well. I can't count the times we would talk for hours to get his advice. He was one of the nicest men I have ever known.
My thoughts are with you at this difficult time.

I met Everette a long time ago when I was a youngster as he and my dad were coworkers and friends. Years later as a student at unb, I worked for him at the sma pool. I think his only demand as a boss was that I was there at coffee time to talk about the previous nights leafs game. His natural humour and down to earth personality made it fun to go to work. I would like to pass my condolences on to all of his family during this difficult time. He will be greatly missed.

My dad worked with Everette and I use to come in to the gym all the time. I have had a lot of great conversations with Everette over the years on many subjects (especially the Leafs). He was always a very kind man, very down to earth, and always made you laugh. Sending my condolences to his family.

Can't fathom this loss yet. We loved Ev with a passion. He meant a lot to us - just like a brother. Ev was kind, passionate, sincere, a very happy guy, never had a bad remark about anyone, and was so very kind towards us and our children. Ev will always be remembered in our hearts as someone who we appreciated and had very fond memories of. I can now see Ev and Brady fishing together in Heaven. Love and blessings to all of Ev's family; Cory we love you.

We always had so much fun at the old farm and the memories of your dad just laughing or smiling just made me want to be out there all the time! I will be cherishing my memories of him.

I am deeply saddened to learn of Everettes passing. I began working with Everette in 1985 when I began my career at UNB.
I was very pleased and honoured to nominate Everette for the UNB Presidents Distinguished Service Award in 2005. I recall that his mother came to the presentation to witness her sons recognition by the President.
Everette was an amazing person. Always a smile. Always positive. Always plussing-up other peoples lives. He had wisdom.
My sincere condolences to his family.

Retired UNB employee
Faculty of Kinesiology
