Obituary of Carissa Greer

The passing of Carissa Mabel Lynn Greer of Fredericton, NB, occurred on Friday, January 5, 2018 at the Dr. Everett Chalmers Regional Hospital. Born on January 18, 1981 in Fredericton, NB, she was the daughter of Katherine Booker and the late Ronald Greer. Carissa loved her children. She liked to play bingo. After her diagnosis and throughout her life, Carissa will be remembered as a fighter through all her challenges #fightMS In addition to her mother, Carissa is survived by her children, Kaylee Greer, Bionka Greer and Alex Greer; sisters, Kendrah Greer (Joe) and Kirsten Greer; nieces and nephews, Jack, Katherine, Nathaniel, Nigel, Mackenzie, Anthony and Jarrod. Besides her father, she was predeceased by her daughter, Shana Summer Rose Greer. A Celebration of Carissa’s Life will take place at York Funeral Home’s T. Gordon MacLeod Memorial Chapel on Monday, January 8, 2018 at 2 pm with Rev. Paul Thompson officiating. Interment will take place in Sunny Bank Cemetery at a later date.
