Obituary of Jerry Munn
The sudden passing of Jerry Wade Munn, husband of Darlene (Fitt) Munn, occurred on Friday, December 29, 2017 at their home in Doaktown. Born on December 13, 1959 in Doaktown, NB, Jerry was a son of the late Herman and Betty Munn. Jerry was a woodsman with York Silviculture. He liked his time at the camp and four-wheeling; was a great cook and although he was a private person, he truly enjoyed his time with family.
In addition to his wife, Jerry is survived by step-son, “P.J.” Stewart (Brittany); sisters, Judy Porter (Jeff), Mary Lou Porter, Susan Graham (Michael), Etta Munn (Calvin O’Donnell); brothers, Eugene Munn (Brenda), Kevin Munn (Sureena), Keith Munn, Paul Munn (Shelly Lyons); sisters-in-law, Julie Munn (Robert Ward), Karen Green (Fraser), Debbie Fitt (Danny); mother-in-law, Ida Fitt. Jerry had a special relationship with his many nieces and nephews as well as his large extended family.
Besides his parents, he was predeceased by his brother, Roger Munn; sister-in-law, Lynda Munn; brother-in-law, Jamie Porter and most recently by his father-in-law, Cyril Fitt.
Visitation will take place at Miramichi Valley Chapel, 7681 Route 8, New Bandon, NB on Wednesday, January 3, 2018 from 12-1:45 pm. A Funeral Service will follow directly at 2 pm with Pastor Mike Burzek officiating. Interment will be in the Doaktown Wesleyan Methodist Cemetery at a later date.
