Obituary of Catherine Robicheau

It is with great sadness; the family of Catherine (Kay) Anne (Barry) Robicheau announces her passing on Monday, December 11, 2017, surrounded by her family, at Hospice House, Fredericton, NB. She was born on February 6, 1938 in Saint John, NB and lived in Meteghan Centre, NS for the past 17 years. Kay was the wife of the late Hubert Robicheau and daughter of the late Kathleen and Frank Barry. She will be lovingly remembered by her children, Laurie-Anne Rankin (Robert), Dartmouth, Jean-Paul Robicheau (Brigitte), Fredericton, Christopher Robicheau (Keith), Moncton, Schelly MacKinnon (Tony), Fredericton and Susie Robicheau, Saint John. Kay is survived by her siblings, Marion Barry, Mark Barry, Rita Barry, Patricia Desaulniers (Yves), Frank Barry (Sharon) and many nieces and nephews. Kay adored her grandchildren Grace, Madeline, Ryan, Laura, Jade and Jonah. She had a great love for her dogs, Schany and Molly. The family would like to thank the caregivers from Yarmouth Hospital, especially Dr. Webster, and a very heartfelt thank you to the wonderful staff of Hospice House Fredericton for providing a caring and warm environment for Kay and her family. There will be no visitation by request. A service will take place in Fredericton, NB at York Funeral Home, 302 Brookside Drive, on Saturday, December 16, 2017 at 11 am with Rev. Bill Brennan officiating. Interment will take place in Stella Maris Cemetery, Meteghan, NS at a later date.
