Obituary of Franklyn Miller

The passing of Franklyn Elton Miller of Fredericton, NB, husband of Veronica (Dupuis) Miller occurred on Wednesday, December 6, 2017 at York Care Centre, Fredericton, NB. Born on June 7, 1938 in Alton, NS, he was the son of the late Fairbanks and Reta (Sibley) Miller. He was a Mechanical Manager with Sansom Equipment. Franklyn enjoyed playing hockey as a goalie for the Brookfield Elks in Nova Scotia and the Fredericton Capitals. In addition to his wife, Franklyn is survived by his sons, Derek Miller (Susan) of Australia, Darren Miller (Stacy) of Water Valley, AB and Dale Miller (Lanny) of Lower Sackville, NS; daughter-in-law, Rosalind Miller; grandchildren, Stewart, Colin, Erika, Meghan, Matthew and Caitlin; several extended family members. Besides his parents, he was predeceased by his son, Dwight Miller. There will be a Graveside Service at Pine Grove Cemetery in East Stewiacke, NS on Sunday, December, 10, 2017 at 2:30 pm with Pastor Dave LeBlanc officiating. Reception to follow.
