Obituary of Erma O'Donnell

The passing of Erma Kathleen O’Donnell, wife of the late Basil O’Donnell, formerly of New Bandon, NB occurred on Wednesday, November 8, 2017 at the Dr. Everett Chalmers Regional Hospital. Born on February 19, 1923 in Parkers Ridge, NB, she was a daughter of the late Herbert and Mary (Parker) MacLellan. Erma was a member of St. James the Greater Anglican Church, Ludlow, NB; past member of the ACW, Women’s Institute and a Board Member of the Central New Brunswick Nursing Home. She enjoyed quilting, sewing, knitting and scrabble. Erma is survived by her daughters, Wanda MacPherson (Bruce) of Westfield, NB, Laurel Price (Brian) of Fredericton, NB, Elaine Price (Carl) of Doaktown, NB and Allana Morehouse (Stuart) of Fredericton, NB; one son, Warren O’Donnell (Dale) of Quispamsis, NB; seven grandchildren, Scott, Andrew, Kyla, Brian, Stephanie, Tiffany and Nicholas; great grandchildren, Zachary, Richelle, Matthew, Daane and Asher; several nieces and nephews. She was the last surviving member of her immediate family. In addition to her husband and parents, she was predeceased by her son, Norman; her sister, Louise MacLellan and her brothers, Allan and Dan. Visitation will take place at Miramichi Valley Chapel, 7681 Route 8, New Bandon, NB on Friday, November 10, 2017 from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 pm. A Funeral Service will be held from St. James the Greater Anglican Church, Ludlow, NB on Saturday, November 11, 2017 at 2 pm with Rev. Neil Osiowy officiating. Interment will take place in St. James the Greater Anglican Church Cemetery. For those who wish, remembrances may be made to St. James the Greater Anglican Cemetery or the charity of the donor’s choice.
