Obituary of Margaret Goos

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Margaret Anne (Yerxa) Goos of Fredericton, NB, wife of the late Elbert Goos which occurred on Tuesday, October 31, 2017 at the Dr. Everett Chalmers Regional Hospital. Born on June 2, 1938 in Keswick, NB, she was the daughter of the late Clifford Yerxa, Louise (Carlisle) Yerxa and her step mother, Bernice (Foster) Yerxa. She delivered mail for Canada Post. She was a member of the Keswick United Baptist Church. She was Grammy Marg to many in her community. Margaret enjoyed knitting, puzzles, watching curling and spending time with her grandchildren and great grandchildren. Marg is survived by her children, Arnold (Shelley), Janice (Byron) and Gordie (Tanya); grandchildren, Joey (Courtney), Rebecca (Evan), Jonathon (Callista), Jacob, Jordan and Gracie; step grandchildren, Matthew (Jessica), Lisa (Alex), Patrick, Gregory (Tanya) and Valerie; great grandchildren, Ace and Charlie; step great grandchildren, Brett, Grace, Kai, Orca Lily, Sean, Haillie, Morgan and Maeve, and her sister in law, Tini (Holland). Visitation will take place at York Funeral Home, 302 Brookside Drive on Thursday, November 2, 2017 from 4-8 pm. The Funeral Service will take place at Keswick United Baptist Church on Friday, November 3, 2017 at 2 pm with Rev. Brent MacDonald officiating. Interment will take place in Keswick Cemetery.
