Obituary of Ardell Clarkson

Clarkson, Ardell Madalene The passing of Ardell Madalene Clarkson of Stanley, NB, wife of the late Wilson Clarkson, occurred on Saturday, September 2, 2017 at Nashwaak Villa. Born on March 17, 1922 in Williamsburg, NB she was the daughter of the late Thomas and Minnie (Bartlett) Fullarton. Ardell was a member of St. Peter’s Presbyterian Church, she taught Sunday School and was a member of the church choir and Ladies Aid. She was also a member of Nashwaak Curling Club. Ardell is survived by her daughter, Sandra Spilman of Stanley, NB; sons, Bernard Clarkson (Linda) of Stanley, NB and Glen Hossack (Mary) of Estey’s Bridge, NB; grandchildren, Troy Spilman, Lori Anne Spilman, Craig Clarkson, Ryan Clarkson, Tamela Collrin, Sarah Billings and Amanda Waugh; great grandchildren, Cole and Kelsey Spilman, Amber Wilson, Spencer Clarkson, Colby MacIntyre, Angel, Avery and Grace Collrin, and Teddy and Dane Waugh; several nieces and nephews. Besides her husband and parents, Ardell was predeceased by her 1st husband, Raymond Hossack; great grandchild, Kaitlynn Billings; sisters, Pearl Dorcas and Vera Cormier; brothers Jack Fullarton and Earle “Bonnie” Fullarton. Visitation will take place on Monday, September 4, 2017 from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 pm at York Funeral Home, 302 Brookside Drive, Fredericton, NB. A Funeral Service will take place at St. Peter’s Presbyterian Church, Stanley, NB on Tuesday, September 5, 2017 at 2 pm with Rev. Lyn Hughes officiating. Interment will take place at the Williamsburg Community Cemetery. For those who wish, remembrances may be made to St. Peter’s Presbyterian Church or to a charity of the donor’s choice.
